by doing.
As a crew member, you’ll be part of a close-knit team, working alongside the skipper and other harvesters.
You’ll set and haul gear such as nets, traps, or lines. You’ll help bring the catch aboard, handle and store it to maintain its quality. You’ll also rebait and reset gear, help maintain equipment, and keep the deck safe, organized, and ready as the vessel moves from one fishing area to the next.
Back at the wharf, you could find yourself unloading the catch, prepping gear and supplies, and getting the vessel ready for the next trip.

It’s active, hands-on work
And the best way to build the skills, sea time, and confidence you need to move forward.
